Insurance & Payment Options
In-Network Insurance (New York & Florida)
I am in-network with commercial plans under Aetna (including Meritain Health), Cigna (Evernorth), Carelon (formerly Beacon Health), and Optum (including UnitedHealthcare and Oxford) for clients residing in New York and Florida. In New York, I am also in-network with Anthem (formerly Empire BlueCross BlueShield).
Coverage depends on your specific plan. Copays, coinsurance, or deductibles are due at the time of service, and insurance benefits are verified prior to your first session.
Vermont Services & Private Pay
For clients residing in Vermont, services are provided on a private-pay (cash-pay) basis only.
Out-of-Network & Reimbursement
If I am not in-network with your specific plan or provider umbrella, you may still be able to use your out-of-network insurance benefits:
-
Monthly Superbills: At the end of each month, I can provide an itemized superbill (receipt for services) for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
-
HSA / FSA Cards Accepted: You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card to pay for therapy sessions.
-
Simplified Claims: You can also use third-party tools like Mentaya or Reimbursify to submit and track your out-of-network claims automatically.
I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card prior to our initial consultation to verify your mental health coverage and deductible status.
